When used in correct way, they minimise the effect of the fall on the human body by reducing in impact force after fall. When teh worker faints during or after fall, it is necessary to aid him immediately and remove him to a safe place. The long hanging of unconciousness body can have permenant or fatal consequences. Thus the fall arrest systems can be used only by informed and appropriately trained workers, capable of aiding each other at rescue and recovery action.
